Weeeee done!

I finially got my Knitting Olympics project done, along with my fathers socks...whew. Sorry, I didn't get a photo of my dads socks before I sent them off to him....I know, I know, I was suppose to give them to him personally and for christmas, but my car is broke down and and and....etc. at least he got them for his birthday...lol. Mom says "He loves them and wears them all the time."
Ok, speaking of my lovely mother, She is the most wonderful person in the world...I love her!
Her birthday is coming up soon March 4th, she'll be #^*$....I bought her some orange Crocs ( shoes that feel like your walking on marshmellows) and I'm making her a pair of cuff socks to match. I can hardly wait to see her face when she opens her packages up.

I spent a few days studying the spinning of novelty yarns, and here are a few photos of what I came up with.

Wool, eyelash, snowfluff plyed with beads and sequins.

It was a lot of fun creating this ...I'm sure to make more novelty yarn sometime.
